Horehrony
Horehronie (German about Upper Grantal) is a region in Slovakia .
It extends over the areas of Okresy Banská Bystrica and Brezno and begins in the west at about the junction of the road to Ľubietová from the main road in the valley of the Hron and ends in the east at the village of Telgárt .
The region is one of the most picturesque in Slovakia due to the diversity of the karst landscape ( Spišsko-gemerský kras ) and cultural wealth.
