Huang Hua (politician)
Huang Hua ( Chinese 黄华 , Pinyin Huáng Huá ; born January 25, 1913 in Hebei Province as Wang Rumei ; † November 24, 2010 in Beijing ) was a Chinese politician and the first UN ambassador to the People's Republic of China .
Huang Hua joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1936. Between 1960 and 1971 he was ambassador to Ghana , Egypt and Canada in succession . From 1976 to 1982 he was Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China and in 1978 head of negotiations for the establishment of diplomatic relations with the United States .
He was also the president of various institutions and a foundation within China.
