Huang Sui

Huang Sui ( Chinese  黄 穗 , Pinyin Huáng Suì ; born January 8, 1982 in Hunan Province ) is a badminton player from the People's Republic of China .

Career

In 2000, Huang won the German Open in women's doubles with Lu Ying .

Huang took part in badminton for China at the 2004 Olympics in women's doubles with her partner Gao Ling . They had a bye in the first round and beat Chin Eei Hui and Wong Pei Tty of Malaysia in the second round . In the quarter-finals, Huang and Gao beat Ann-Lou Jørgensen and Rikke Olsen from Denmark 15: 6, 15: 7. They won the semifinals against Zhao Tingting and Wei Yili from China with 15:10, 17:14, but lost the final against Zhang Jiewen and Yang Wei , also from China , with 7:15, 15: 4, 15: 8 to win the silver medal. For this, the two won the final of the Badminton Swiss Open in 2004 .

In 2005 she and her partner Gao Ling won both the women's double finals at the German Open and the All England 2005.

In 2006 she won the finals at the All England , China Masters , Malaysia Open , Macau Open and the Japan Open . At the Individual World Cup held in Madrid in 2006 , Huang Sui and Gao Ling won the women's doubles. In 2007 they could not defend the title. In the final they lost to their compatriots Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen in two sets with 16:21 and 19:21.

After her active career, she moved to Australia.
