Hugo Högner

Hugo Högner (born August 3, 1910 in Landshut , † 1994 in Landshut) was a German painter and goldsmith .

Högner had two older brothers, one was the painter Franz Högner . He attended high school. He learned the goldsmith's trade from his father. At the age of 19, Högner attended the Academy for Applied Arts in Munich and Oskar Kokoschka's summer academy in Salzburg . He was the mentor of the artist Johann Gassenhuber .
