Idanell Brill Connally
Idanell Brill "Nellie" Connally (born February 24, 1919 , † September 2, 2006 ) was the First Lady of Texas from 1963 to 1969 (she was married to Governor John Connally until his death in 1993). She was the last survivor (as an inmate) of the assassination attempt on John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas , Texas. She also helped poor and sick people in Texas. Among other things, she received help from Donald Trump , Richard Nixon and Barbara Walters in her charitable work .
