Ingo Lang von Langen

Ingo Lang von Langen , until 1901 Ingo Michel , (born July 30, 1895 in Frankfurt (Oder) , † May 21, 1979 in Überlingen ) was a German administrative lawyer and municipal official.

Life

Ingo Lang von Langen was born as the son of the administrative officer Georg Lang von Langen , who was most recently district administrator in Gaildorf . He attended high schools in Metz and Altkirch in the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . He studied at the Westphalian Wilhelms University and was active in 1919 in Münster with the Corps Suevia Strasbourg . Suevia had to leave Strasbourg before the Versailles Peace Treaty and was reconstituted in Munster on June 17, 1919. To the Dr. iur. after receiving his doctorate , Lang von Langen joined the administration. From 1925 to 1930 he worked as a successor to Emil Braunagel (1873-1925) mayor in Schwenningen am Neckar and 1930-1933 Mayor in Esslingen am Neckar . He resigned his office and became a printer in Berlin , where he later maintained good contacts with the Kreisau Circle . In 1935, he found a job as an advertising specialist and authorized signatory for the Scho-Ka-Kola manufacturer Hildebrand, Kakao- und Schokoladenfabrik GmbH in Berlin. After 1945 he worked in Berlin on the official side in denazification and as a lawyer and notary. He spent his retirement at Lake Constance.
