Ingrid Bișu
Ingrid Bişu (born September 15, 1987 in Bucharest ) is a German - Romanian actress .
Life
Bișu was born on September 15, 1987 in Bucharest, Romania, to Romanian-German parents. She attended a German kindergarten in Bucharest.
On June 22, 2019, Bisu got engaged to Malaysian-Australian director James Wan . They married in November 2019.
Career
In 2003, at the age of 16, Bișu had her first photo shoot in the youth magazine "Cool Girl" and then landed her first commercial for Orange SA Mobile, which was broadcast in Israel and Romania.
In the same year she played the role of a young and smart teenager in the Romanian television series Casatorie de proba . In early 2014 she auditioned for the film Toni Erdmann , directed by Maren Ade , and got the role of Anca, the main character's assistant. The film received over 56 nominations and 33 awards.
Bisu starred in the horror film The Nun . The film was released in September 2018.
