International coordination for the decade

On 10 November 1998, the General Assembly of the United Nations (has UNO ), the first decade of the 21st century and the third millennium, the years 2001-2010, for the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World explains .

Since 2001, national networks for the decade have been established in several countries, for example in France, Austria, the Netherlands and Italy. These national networks, together with a number of international organizations, founded the International Coordination for the Decade in June 2003 .
