International Film Festival Potsdam

The International Film Festival Potsdam was a film festival in Potsdam-Babelsberg , which was held once in 2014 in the Thalia cinema. At the end of the festival, the gold eagle for the “best feature film” was awarded to the person in charge as an event trophy.

For the best film at the festival, the winner received the eagle in gold , a stylized Märkische eagle made of gold-colored glass, which rises from Potsdam with outstretched wings from a globe as a trophy.

The film festival was held in the renowned Thalia cinema in Potsdam-Babelsberg with 709 seats in four screening rooms. The house sees itself as a film art theater and is repeatedly awarded for its annual film program.
