Life
Kemény began to study law at the Loránd Eötvös University in Budapest , then switched to studying Hungarian literature and history and graduated in 1983. He published his first volume of poetry in 1984 under the title "Csigalépcsõ az elfelejtett tanszékekhez" ("Spiral staircase to the forgotten faculty"). With his support, Orsolya Kalász and Gerhard Falkner published the anthology of poems "Budapest Scenes" in Germany in 1999 when Hungary was the guest of honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair .
He has been interviewing elderly family members for a number of years and has recorded memories on more than a hundred tapes. These memories span a century and a half of European-Hungarian history, and he plans a great family novel based on this material.
