It's a Great Feeling is a song by Jule Styne (music) and Sammy Cahn (lyrics) released in 1948.

Styne and Cahn wrote the song It's a Great Feeling for the comedy film A great feeling (1949, original title: It's a Great Feeling , director: David Butler ). Dennis Morgan , Jack Carson and Doris Day , who introduces the song in the film, play the leading roles . After their great success with the song It's Magic in Romance on the High Sea (1948), the songwriting team Styne / Cahn wrote another film song for Doris Day. It's Magic received an Oscar nomination for Best Song in 1950. The song was recorded in 1949 a. a. also by Sammy Kaye (on RCA Victor 2942), Kay Starr / Billy Butterfield and in a duet by Pearl Bailey with Hot Lips Page (Harmony 1054). It's a Great Feeling was recorded by Mavis Rivers in the 1950s .
