Italian football championship 1928/29
The Italian football championship 1928/29 was the 28th Italian football championship , which was held by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC). She was the last before the introduction of the Serie A . Italian champions in 1928/29 were FC Bologna . First there was a preliminary round in two groups, the best team in each group qualified for the final round, where the Italian football champions 1928/29 were played. The first nine teams also qualified for the Serie A 1929/30 . The rest of the teams were for Serie B the following season, from 1929/30 second highest Italian league, eligible to start.
