Jürgen Fluck

Jürgen Fluck (* 1955 ) is a lobbyist , legal advisor at BASF SE and a legal scholar .

Life

He studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and worked as a research assistant for professors Christoph Trzaskalik and Hans-Werner Laubinger . In 1984 he did his doctorate on the fulfillment of the public-law obligation contract by administrative act . In 1986 he became a lawyer in Düsseldorf . In 1987 he worked in the state representation of Rhineland-Palatinate in Bonn and one year later moved to the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Environment in Mainz. He has been employed by BASF SE since 1990 . There he works as Vice-President with a focus on public law for the central legal department in Ludwigshafen. He is the chairman of the administrative, liability and criminal law committee of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI). He also works as a lawyer in Limburgerhof .

Since November 4, 2006 he has been a member of the board of the Society for Environmental Law . He is co-editor of several legal journals, e.g. B. Zeitschrift für Stoffrecht , Verwaltungsarchiv etc. He has published numerous articles and commentaries, especially in the area of chemicals and waste law and environmental information law .
