Jürgen Marbach

Jürgen Marbach (born July 31, 1958 in Duisburg ) was managing director of LTU International Airways .

Act

Jürgen Marbach moved to LTU in 2001 after having worked for the tourism companies Tjaereborg and REWE Touristik for many years . He was appointed to the LTU management on January 10, 2002 and has been managing director since mid-2004. He held a 24 percent stake in LTU through Marbach Beteiligungs und Consulting (MIC) GmbH from Meerbusch . In 2007 the company was taken over by Air Berlin . At the end of February 2008, Jürgen Marbach resigned from the LTU management.

Marbach was Managing Director Marketing , Organization and Arena at VfL Wolfsburg -Fußball GmbH until he terminated his contract on December 21, 2009 after Dieter Hoeneß had been hired as the new Managing Director.

On June 17, 2013, Jürgen Marbach was unanimously elected Chairman of the MSV Duisburg Supervisory Board . In October 2013 he bought the tour operator and hotel operator Aldiana , in which he had previously owned a 26.1 percent share. He resigned as chairman of the supervisory board of MSV Duisburg in September 2019.

Jürgen Marbach lives in St. Johann in Tirol and is the father of three children.
