Jürgen Schützinger

Jürgen Schützinger (born May 29, 1953 in Schwenningen am Neckar ) is a German politician of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD).

Education, work and family

After completing secondary school , he joined the police in the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1970 . Because of his activities for the NPD, he was dismissed from the civil service in 1982 due to the so-called radical decree. a. active as a freelance commercial agent.

Jürgen Schützinger is married and has four children. While his son Rudolf (* 1982) is also active in the NPD (among other things as a Bundestag candidate in 2013 in the Bundestag constituency of Calw ), another son of Schützinger "clearly distanced himself politically from his parents" and has been working for the ver.di union in the district since 2017 Villingen-Schwenningen-Bodensee as legal advisor.

Political party

Schützinger was state chairman of the NPD Baden-Württemberg from 1978 to 1991 . He held this office again from October 22, 2005 to April 2013, after the previous state chairman Günter Deckert had been voted out of office at a special party conference of the NPD Baden-Württemberg. From 1982 to 1991 he was also the national manager of the NPD. After the then national chairman Martin Mußgnug was replaced by Günter Deckert in 1991, Schützinger also withdrew from the NPD and together with Mußgnug founded the German League for People and Homeland , of which he has been the executive national spokesman since it was founded in 1991. Because the DLVH sees itself only as a political association (which, however, sporadically competes in municipal elections), Schützinger has been active again in the NPD since the beginning of 2005.

Schützinger is also district chairman of the NPD district association Schwarzwald-Baar, which was re-established on April 1, 2005.

District and City Council

Since 1980 he has been active as a city councilor for the Villingen-Schwenningen regional center. From 1984 to 2019 he was also a member of the district council of the Schwarzwald-Baar district .
