Jürgen Welcome
Jürgen Willkomm (born September 7, 1959 in Gierath ) is a former German soccer player .
The midfielder played for 1. FC Köln in the 1. Bundesliga for three years, but only appeared five times during this time. Nevertheless, the DFB appointed him twice for the U21 national team. In 1981 he moved to SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2nd Bundesliga , where he immediately became a regular player. With his convincing performance in Wattenscheid, he drew the attention of SV Waldhof Mannheim to himself. This brought him back to the 1st Bundesliga in 1983. But even here it was only used five times. A year later he went to the 2nd league club Alemannia Aachen . Here he always had a regular place in the top team. In 1986 he left the club and played another year for Wuppertaler SV .
