Jürgen von der Lippe (born June 8, 1948 in Bad Salzuflen as Hans-Jürgen Hubert Dohrenkamp ) is a German television presenter , entertainer , actor , audio book speaker , musician and comedian .

Life

Jürgen von der Lippe grew up in Aachen , where he attended the Kaiser-Karls-Gymnasium and passed his Abitur in 1966 . He was also a Catholic altar boy . His father was a bartender in a striptease bar, his mother a cook. From 1967 to 1970 von der Lippe completed an officer training with the telecommunications force of the German armed forces and left the armed forces with the rank of lieutenant .
