Jabbim is a GPL -lizenzierter instant messaging - client for the XMPP protocol and a Czech XMPP instant messaging server. The XMPP client uses the Qt library and is programmed in Python . Jabbim is available for Linux and Microsoft Windows .

.Deb and .rpm packages are provided for various Linux distributions . There is no active development of Jabbim for Mac OS X , although the program is close to an executable version for this operating system .

Jabbim can be used to connect to normal XMPP servers as well as to use the Google Talk service.
