Jack Orsen

Jack Orsen (born Nikolai Poptrandov ) is also under the stage name Hess known Berlin Battle Rapper . Orsen is part of the rap group MOR , which is considered to be the pioneer of German-speaking battlerap.

life and career

Poptrandov was born in Georgia to a Hungarian family . He lived in Los Angeles until he was seven , from where his family moved to Berlin-Kreuzberg . Even at a young age he had problems with the law because he said he was a drug dealer. After getting to know the then very young rapper Curse , he first began to be interested in hip-hop culture. A little later he made the acquaintance of the inexperienced rappers Kool Savas , Fumanschu and Justus Jonas , who took him into their Masters of Rap crew, through a local youth center .

Orsen began his rap career around the Royalbunker- Café, which was representative of the MOR label of the same name. Due to the close contact that developed from this with Kool Savas and Taktloss , he also appeared in their opening act at times.

In 2004 his solo album Grade 1+ was released . A joint album with Taktloss followed in the same year.

In addition to his guest contributions on the albums of other MOR members, Orsen can be heard on publications by artists such as Automatikk , Boba Fettt , Eko Fresh , Fumanschu , King Orgasmus One , Plattenpapzt and Prinz Porno .
