Jacob of Ibelin (also Jacques or Jāk , * around 1249; † 1276 ) was Count of Jaffa (as such also Jacob of Jaffa ) and Lord of Ramla in the Kingdom of Jerusalem .

He was the son of John of Ibelin , Count of Jaffa, Lord of Ramla, and his wife Maria of Armenia. When his father died in 1266, he was his successor.

In March 1268 his lands were conquered by the Mamluks , after which he fled to relatives in Cyprus .

Between 1255 and 1260 he married Maria von Montbéliard, widow of Hugo von Ibelin-Beirut (son of Balian von Beirut ), daughter of Odo von Montbéliard , constable of Jerusalem, and the Eschiva of Saint-Omer , princess of Galilee. The marriage remained childless.

When Jakob died in 1276, his younger brother Guido von Ibelin († 1304) inherited his title.
