Jakub Kot (born January 19, 1990 in Limanowa ) is a former Polish ski jumper .

Kot began his international career in 2007 in the FIS Cup , where he was able to jump onto the podium within a very short time. From February 2008 he jumped firmly in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . At the 2009 Junior World Championships in Štrbské Pleso , he won the bronze medal in team jumping with the Polish team. In the same year, with five points won, he placed 70th overall in the Summer Grand Prix . Before that, he had already made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup on January 16, 2009 and achieved 45th place on his home hill in Zakopane . At the Polish Championship 2009 in Szczyrk he won bronze with the team. On January 30th and 31st, 2010 he was again active in the ski flying world cup in Oberstdorf . In the individual he reached the 35th place. With the team he flew to 7th place. At the Winter Universiade 2011 in Erzurum , Turkey , he achieved third place with the Polish team and thus the bronze medal.

Kot now works as a TV expert and technical delegate for the FIS.

His brother Maciej Kot is also a ski jumper.
