Jan Molsen (born February 17, 1987 in Lübeck ) is a German handball player who played for SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the Bundesliga .
Career
Molsen initially played football, started playing handball at TSV Hürup at the age of 13 and moved to SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the C-youth. In 2004 he won the German championship with the B-youth of SG Flensburg-Handewitt. Molsen later played with DHK Flensborg in the Regionalliga and returned to SG Flensburg-Handewitt in 2008, where he played with the second team in the Regionalliga and with the first team in the Bundesliga and EHF Champions League . In summer 2009 he joined the second division HSG Varel . After he finished 13th in the scorers' list of the 2nd Bundesliga with 172 hits in the 2010/11 season, the right-hander returned to DHK Flensborg in the 3rd division . After one season, Molsen moved to league rivals HSG Tarp-Wanderup . With Tarp he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013. In 2014 he joined the SG Westerland / List. In 2018 Molsen moved to the SH league club ATSV Stockelsdorf .
