Jane Törnqvist
Jane Törnqvist (born May 9, 1975 in Manila ) is a Swedish football player. The defender plays for the Swedish club Göteborg FC in Damallsvenskan and in the Swedish national team .
Career
Before moving to Djurgårdens IF / Älvsjö , Törnqvist played for Hammarby IF in the Swedish league. With Djurgårdens IF / Älvsjö she was twice champion and twice cup winner. In 2003 she was with the Swedish national team in the final of the World Cup , which the Swedish team lost to Germany . In the summer of 2005, Törnqvist was about to move to the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam . After she had already given verbal approval, she surprisingly withdrew for personal reasons. For the 2008 season she moved to league rivals Göteborg FC .
Törnqvist works full-time as a carpenter .
