Jann-Christopher George (born July 31, 1992 in Nuremberg ) is a German soccer player with American roots. The striker is under contract with second division SSV Jahn Regensburg .
Career
George started his career in 1996 with SG Nürnberg Fürth and in 2002 he joined the youth team of 1. FC Nürnberg . There he went through all youth teams and came on April 13, 2010 for the first time for the second team in the 3-0 win against the second team of the Karlsruher SC in the Regionalliga Süd to use. He scored his first goal on September 7, 2011 in the 2-1 defeat against FC Bayern Alzenau . After a total of 39 games and eleven goals for the second team of the club , he was suspended in early November 2012 found.
A few weeks later he signed a contract with TSV 1860 Munich , which was valid from January 2013. He signed a contract with a term until June 30, 2016, which was extended to 2017 due to a clause at the end of the season. George was used 27 times in the season and won the championship with the club. After successful promotion games against the second team of VfL Wolfsburg , he rose with the team in the third division . There he qualified with his team as third in the table again for the relegation games and prevailed there against TSV 1860 Munich , which meant promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga .
