Live and act

Schaffer first played as a guitarist with pop bands such as Noisemen , Chicks or Ted and the Caracas , before joining a dance orchestra and having a few smaller hits with the Sleepstones . In the 1970s he worked primarily as a studio musician with ABBA , Ted Gärdestad , Cornelis Wresvijk and Barbro Hörberg , but also played with Bob Marley , Johnny Nash , Reebop Kwaku Baah and others. Wlodek Gulgowski and Zbigniew Namysłowski caught up with him in 1973 in her Rock Jazz Project Pop Workshop (with Mads Vinding and Ed Thigpen and Tony Williams ).

Schaffer became famous in Sweden with his rock-oriented debut album of the same name in 1973, on which keyboardist Björn J: son Lindh accompanied him. The second album also sold so well in Sweden that the third album, which was assigned to jazz rock , was released worldwide. He subsequently played at the major European jazz festivals, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival , where live recordings were also made. With Lindh he then founded the band Earmeal .

Schaffer has been a member of the Swedish Electric Banana Band , which is very successful in making children's music, since the 1980s .
