Jared Padalecki
Jared Tristan Padalecki (born July 19, 1982 in San Antonio , Texas ) is an American actor of Polish descent on his father's side . He became famous for his role as Dean Forester in the television series Gilmore Girls . He is also known for his role as Sam Winchester on the CW series Supernatural . He also starred in A Crazy Day in New York and House of Wax .
life and career
At the age of twelve he took acting classes to appear in plays. In 1999, Jared Padalecki won the Claim To Fame competition and presented a prize at the Teen Choice Awards . With this appearance he drew the attention of talent scouts and met his future manager, who also looks after Freddie Prinze junior .
After graduating from James Madison High School in 2000, Jared Padalecki eventually moved to Los Angeles to become an actor. In the same year he got the role of Dean Forester in the series Gilmore Girls and made his breakthrough. He starred in the series from 2000 to 2005. Although the series Young MacGyver , in which Padalecki played the leading role in 2003, was never broadcast by The WB , he subsequently appeared in numerous movies such as A Crazy Day in New York , The Flight , parallel to his appearances in Gilmore Girls of the Phoenix , Cry_Wolf and the remake of the horror classic House of Wax .
In 2005, Jared Padalecki from The WB again got the chance to create his own series and, alongside Jensen Ackles , took on the lead role of Sam Winchester in the mystery series Supernatural . In 2007 he presented the Ashton Kutcher- produced series Room 401 on MTV . In 2009 he starred in the horror film Friday the 13th , which is a remake of the 1980 film of the same name .
Padalecki has an older brother and a younger sister. He has been married to Genevieve Padalecki since February 27, 2010 . The couple have two sons and a daughter (* 2012, * 2013, * 2017). He lives in Austin , Texas .
