Jasper Becker
Jasper Becker (born May 19, 1956 in London ) is an author and correspondent from London. His books deal with the People's Republic of China and North Korea .
Life
He studied at the University of London and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He is a sinologist and speaks French and German . He is a citizen of Great Britain .
From 1985 to 1990 he was China correspondent in Beijing for the Guardian . He has continued to work for BBC World and newspapers in the UK and Hong Kong since then .
His analyzes are also broadcast by Deutsche Welle , ARD , Radio France Internationale , KBS (South Korea) and RTÉ (Ireland).
