Jean Dufaux

Jean Dufaux (born June 7, 1949 in Ninove ) is a Belgian comic book author .

life and work

After studying film studies at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Brussels, he first worked as a journalist before starting to write comic book scenarios in the late 1980s. His choice of topics ranges from historical scenarios ( Murena - played in ancient Rome at the time of Nero , Giacomo C. - in the Venice of the Rococo ), the erotic crime series Jessica Blandy , to fantasy ( The Lost Land ) and science fiction ( Samba Bugatti ). He also wrote the fantasy agent series Niklos Koda , which was published by Le Lombard between 1999 and 2017 .

Dufuax has worked with various illustrators such as Griffo , Grzegorz Rosiński , Philippe Adamov , Ana Miralles and Philippe Delaby over the course of his career .

For the Blake and Mortimer series , Jean Dufaux is responsible for the volume L'Onde Septimus , a sequel to The Yellow M , after Jean Van Hamme as a scenarioist together with the illustrator Antoine Aubin .
