Jean Dumur

Jean Dumur (born January 10, 1930 as Jean Aeschbacher in Lausanne , † February 2, 1986 in Geneva ) was a Swiss journalist .

Dumur was editor-in-chief of the Tribune de Lausanne from 1969 to 1972 . From 1972 to 1982 he was head of the information sector at Télévision suisse romande (TSR), and in 1982 he became TSR program manager.

The Jean Dumur Prize for outstanding journalistic achievements bears his name.
