Jens Bogner
Jens Bogner (* 6. June 1970 in Marbach am Neckar , district of Ludwigsburg ) is a German singer in the field of popular song and popular music .
Life
As early as preschool age, Bogner took keyboard and later piano lessons. He also played in a theater company. Even as a child and teenager he was a big fan of Howard Carpendale , whose songs he was able to reproduce very faithfully. This brought him, among other things, to an appearance in a quiz program by Rudi Carrell , the candidates had to guess whether original or not. Jens Bogner took all candidates for Howard Carpendale, so perfectly could he imitate the South African singer vocally.
After attending the secondary school in Marbach with the completion of secondary school, he learned the profession of engraver . Then he got a role in the television series Matchball (1994), in which Howard Carpendale also starred, but he did not want to be an actor. In 1996 Bogner got a record deal and was soon able to appear on television, for example in the popular ZDF hit parade or the ZDF hit parade.
In 1996 Jens Bogner applied for the Grand Prix of Folk Music . However, his title Under Stranger Stars could not reach the final.
