The Jezioro Czerniańskie is a reservoir on the headwaters of the Vistula , Biała Wisełka and Czarna Wisełka , in the Polish Silesian Voivodeship . It lies in the mountain range of the Silesian Beskids .

description

Behind the 37 m high dam the water which is Biala Wisełka and Czarna Wisełka and smaller tributaries dammed. With full back which includes reservoir 4.5 million cubic meters of water. The water area is then 0.36 km².

history

The reservoir was finally flooded in 1973. It is used as a protection against flooding.

tourism

The presidential palace from the 1930s is located on the shores of the lake .
