Jimmy Goodrich
Jimmy Goodrich (* the 30th July 1900 in Scranton , Pennsylvania , USA as James Edward Moran ; † 25. September 1982 in Fort Myers , Florida , USA ) was an American boxer in the lightweight .
He was the first to hold the world championship title of the former NYSAC association in this weight class . He achieved this on July 13th in 1925 with a technical knockout victory in round 2 in a 15-round fight against the previously unbeaten Chilean Stanislaus Loayza (29-0-0). He lost the title in December of that year to Rocky Kansas by unanimous decision.
