Johan Coolen OT (* around 1668 in Gemert ; † November 28, 1729 in Overrepen) was a priest in the Teutonic Order .

After Coolen possibly attended the Latin school of the Kommende Gemert of the Teutonic Order in his home country , he enrolled at the University of Leuven on June 24, 1685 , where he also had a scholarship in the seminary of the Teutonic Order.

After Coolen, who spoke Latin, Dutch and French, had completed the novitiate in the Kommende Neuenbiesen in Maastricht , he made his profession on January 14, 1694 in the Landkommende Alden Biesen in the Ballei of the same name.

Still living in the priests' convent of the Kommende Neuenbiesen and since 1695 equipped with an altar priest at the parish church in Gruitrode, the county commander appointed him pastor of Bekkevoort on October 30, 1709. Since there were some disagreements with the Archbishop of Mechelen, he held this office from January 30, 1710 as Deservitor.

On April 27, 1720, following his appointment as Commander and Pastor of Saint-Andre in Liège , he resigned himself to this position in April 1726 and took over the parish of Overrepen on May 2, 1726 .
