Johan Huebner von Holst (born August 22, 1881 in Stockholm ; † June 13, 1945 there ) was a Swedish sports shooter .

Johan Hübner von Holst first took part in the 1906 Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens , where he competed in seven competitions. In three of them he was placed in the top ten: with the free pistol over 25 m he took fifth and over 50 m tenth. Most successful was the competition with the dueling pistol at 25 m, with which he won the silver medal behind Konstantinos Skarlatos and in front of Vilhelm Carlberg . In 1908 , Hübner von Holst made his Olympic debut in London . With the free pistol over 50 yards, he finished fifth in the team standings. In the team competition with the small bore rifle in the prone position, he secured the silver medal when he scored 737 points together with Vilhelm and Eric Carlberg as well as Frans-Albert Schartau , finishing second behind Great Britain and ahead of France. In addition, he competed in four other disciplines, but he did not succeed in placing. At the Olympic Games in his native Stockholm in 1912 , Hübner von Holst won a total of four medals in five disciplines. With the rapid fire pistol, he took third place behind Alfred Lane and Paul Palén and therefore received the bronze medal. In the competition with the small bore rifle over 25 m on a disappearing target, he came second in the individual behind Vilhelm Carlberg and in front of Gideon Ericsson . In the team competition he was next to Gustaf Boivie , Vilhelm and Eric Carlberg Olympic champion . With 238 points, he was the team's best shooter. He won another gold medal in the team competition with the army revolver. Together with Paul Palén, Vilhelm and Eric Carlberg, he finished the competition in front of the Russian and British teams in first place.

Hübner von Holst passed his officer's examination in the Swedish Army in 1904 , and in 1917 he was promoted to captain . In 1928 he took his leave.
