Johanna Liebeneiner (born June 25, 1945 in Hamburg ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

She is the daughter of the director Wolfgang Liebeneiner and the actress Hilde Krahl . Johanna Liebeneiner received acting lessons in Vienna and with Else Bongers in Berlin. Her godmother was the actress Ida Ehre .

Johanna Liebeneiner made her debut at the Hamburger Kammerspiele as Christine in Liebelei . In 1967 she got an engagement in Aachen. From 1968 to 1973 she worked at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , where she played Gretchen in Faust I and Helena in Faust II . From 1973 to 1975 she worked at the State Theater in Hanover . In 1975 she was the Célimène in Der Menschenfeind at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg . In 1976/1977 she worked again in Düsseldorf and then at the State Theater in Stuttgart . In 1985 she went to Bremen and was engaged at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich in 1986/1987 .

Since then, Johanna Liebeneiner has been a freelance artist, and from 1989 she appeared with her own theater productions. She was seen in numerous television series such as Tatort and Liebling Kreuzberg . In the Schlosshotel Orth series , she was part of the regular cast as hotel manager Doris Haller. She also gives reading evenings and coaches young actors. In summer 2007 she played a. a. the role of Iokaste in King Oedipus of Sophocles as part of the Trier Antikenfestspiele . For years she has been on the road with the touring theater Der Grüne Wagen in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. a. in the productions Lysistrate and We got away with it again .

Johanna Liebeneiner was married to the cameraman Michael Thiele. From this marriage comes a son, Friedemann Thiele , who is also an actor.

From September 2010 to June 2011 Johanna Liebeneiner played in the main cast of the ZDF telenovela Lena - Love of my Life, Countess Amelie von Ahrensberg.
