John Myhre
John Myhre is an American production designer.
Myhre has been working on film productions since the 1980s, initially as an art director and since the early 1990s as a production designer.
As a production designer, he gained greater prominence in the film business through the production design in Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth , which earned him an Oscar nomination and led to his being hired for major film productions. After Elizabeth , he was nominated four more times for Oscar and won the award for Chicago and The Geisha .
