Jonas Laux

Jonas Laux (* 1982 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German actor .

Life

Laux is the son of the actor Jörg Simmat . He completed an acting training at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig . Laux had theater engagements at the Schauspiel Leipzig , at the Thalia-Theater Halle and at the Schauspielhaus Zurich .

His television debut Laux 2001 in the ARD - TV Movie father needs a woman . In the Pro7 - sitcom Wild guys he played in 2004 the role of the shy student Christoph . In 2004 he also played an episode role alongside Felicitas Woll in the ARD early evening series Berlin, Berlin . In 2007 he was seen as a soldier in the film Die Frau vom Checkpoint Charlie . Laux also took on several leading episode roles in various television series. Since 2011 Jonas Laux has had a continuous leading role in the ZDF pre-evening series SOKO Wismar ; he embodied the role of the chief detective Nils Theede, which he gave up in 2014 in the middle of the 11th season.

Laux achieved particular fame in the continuous leading role of Sven Sonnenfeld in the ARD television series Familie Sonnenfeld , where he played the eldest son of the family from 2005 to 2009 together with Marion Kracht and Helmut Zierl . Laux subtly traces the development of the character across various stages and conflicts: moving out of the parental home, building up his own professional existence as a cook, confusion in love with an older woman and finally the challenges of a great love for a woman from the Muslim culture.

He also worked in smaller roles in cinema productions : in 2003 in The Flying Classroom and in 2005 in Polly Blue Eyes .

Jonas Laux has a daughter and a son with actress Vicky Krieps .
