Jonathan Hales
Jonathan Hales (born May 10, 1937 in England ) is a British playwright and screenwriter .
biography
Hales was born in England in 1937. In 1970 he worked as a screenwriter for the British series Manhunt , for which he wrote a total of five episodes. In the 1970s and 1980s he was involved in other television series. He also wrote the screenplay for the film Mord im Spiegel , based on the book of the same name by Agatha Christie . Hales worked for George Lucas on the series The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones .
His best-known work as a screenwriter was the film Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002), for which he wrote the screenplay with George Lucas. For the film The Scorpion King , which appeared in the same year, Hales was involved in the story development.
For his work on Episode II he received (together with Lucas) the Golden Raspberry for the worst screenplay .
