Youth Education Center
Youth education centers are central institutions for extracurricular youth education .
They offer their own events, but are also available for measures by other youth welfare and youth education organizations and support them. There, young people can obtain information in courses, seminars, conferences and courses and deal with their questions and problems. The focus is on the training and advanced training of voluntary youth leaders and the training of full-time employees in youth work.
Youth education centers usually have a supraregional catchment area. They differ depending on their function and sponsorship.
The state , the churches with their subdivisions, as well as free corporations and associations can be the sponsors .
In order to be able to fulfill their tasks, youth education centers need pedagogically trained staff and their own business enterprise with overnight accommodation, seminar and group rooms as well as the work and aids necessary for educational measures.
