Julia Gronemann (born February 17, 1985 in Helmarshausen ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Julia Gronemann played for HSG Wesertal, HSG Lohfelden / Vollmarshausen, GSV Eintracht Baunatal , TuSpo Waldau and, from 2010, for the then second division HSG Bad Wildungen , with whom she was promoted to the first division in 2011. The 1.83 meter tall goalkeeper has been under contract with Buxtehuder SV since summer 2013 . With the BSV, she won the DHB Cup in 2015 and 2017 . After the 2018/19 season, she intended to end her career. When Gronemann became pregnant in March 2019, she ended her career prematurely.

Others

Gronemann was a Hessian youth swimming champion and took part in the German youth championships, she is a lifeguard for the DLRG . The high school teacher for German and sport taught from 2012 to 2013 at the Melanchthon School Steinatal and since 2013 at the Buxtehude Süd high school .
