Julio Cardeñosa Rodríguez (born October 27, 1949 in Valladolid ) is a former Spanish football player .
Player career
Cadeñosa began his career in 1969 with his home club Real Valladolid . In 1974 he moved to Betis Sevilla , where he won the Spanish Cup in 1977. He ended his career in 1985 with a collective title.
Internationally, he played eight times for Spain. He took part in the Football World Cup in Argentina in 1978 (Spain were eliminated in the group stage). In the UEFA EURO 1980 in Italy Cardeñosa was also in the squad. The Spaniards were eliminated again in the group stage.
