Julius Leopold Klein
Julius Leopold Klein (* 1810 in Mischkolz , Austrian Empire ; † August 2, 1876 in Berlin ) was a German author and literary historian.
Life
He graduated from high school in Pest and studied medicine in Vienna and Berlin. After traveling to Italy and Greece, he settled in Berlin in 1830, where, apart from a stay in Wismar in 1838 as director of the Baltic papers , he lived as a writer until his death. Klein wrote several historical tragedies and comedies, but is best known as the author of a 13-volume story of the drama (1865–1876).
