Justinus Cardinal Darmojuwono (born November 2, 1914 in Godean , Indonesia , † February 3, 1994 in Semarang , Indonesia) was Archbishop of Semarang .

Life

Justinus Darmojuwono received the sacrament of priestly ordination on May 25, 1947 through the then Apostolic Vicar of Semarang, Albert Soegijapranata SJ .

On December 10, 1963, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Archbishop of Semarang. He received his episcopal consecration on April 6, 1964, the Internuntius in Indonesia, Archbishop Ottavio De Liva ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Jakarta , Adrianus Djajasepoetra SJ, and the Bishop of Denpasar , Paul Sani Kleden SVD . On July 8, 1964, Justinus Darmojuwono was also appointed military bishop of Indonesia . Darmujowono participated in the Second Vatican Council from 1962 to 1965.
