The Kärntnermilch reg. Gen.mbH is an Austrian dairy that was founded in 1928 as the "Oberkärntner Molkerei". The company is currently the market leader in Carinthia .

With 169 employees in 2010, the company achieved a turnover of around 82.3 million euros. Compared to the previous year, Kärntnermilch was able to increase sales by 4.87%. This year the investments amounted to around 4.0 million euros. The Kärntnermilch cooperative had 2,429 members in 2010, 36 members fewer than in 2009. The total own delivery amounted to 97,565,995 kg of milk. In 2010, the organic milk share was around 18.6% of the raw milk delivered. The export share was 12.4 million euros, the increasing export quota is now 15.1%. The focus is primarily on neighboring Austrian countries and mainly exports cheese and organic products. The company currently operates four grocery stores called "Frischemarkt" in Spittal an der Drau , Villach , Feldkirchen in Carinthia and Hermagor . Regional own products are sold in these department stores.

The Kärntnermilch product range can be divided into four sections. These include the white palette, the yellow palette as well as Bio + and the MILKfit line. The white range includes products such as butter, whole milk, semi-skimmed milk, whipped cream and sour cream, as well as their lactose-free alternatives. The different types of cheese are included in the yellow palette. Organic products are sold as part of the Bio + line. A type of acidophilus milk, which can also be found in the white range, also received its own product line which is sold under the name MILKfit.

The average fat content of raw milk is 4.21%, while the protein content is 3.39%. Today, an average of 280,000 kg of milk are processed every day. In 2010, dairy products were made from a total of 103 million kilograms of raw milk.
