Kabiyé (also Kabire, Cabrai, Kabure, Kabye or Cabrais ) is the language of the West African Kabiyé (people) , which is used in Togo in the Kara region , primarily in Kozah and Binah, by around 700,000 (1998) speakers.
About 65% of the speakers live in the center of Togo or in the plateau regions. The language is mainly found in the Togolese areas of Sotouboua, Blitta, Kloto, Ogou, Amlame, Wawa, and Haho.
In Benin about 30,000 (1991) speaker can be found.
In the north of Ghana , Kabiyé is used by an unspecified number of speakers.
