Kai-Uwe-von-Hassel sponsorship award
The Kai-Uwe von Hassel Prize has been awarded annually by the Hermann Ehlers Foundation since 1975 . The award is named after the politician Kai-Uwe von Hassel , who is one of the co-initiators of the Hermann Ehlers Foundation. The award honors "younger citizens [...] who have made a contribution to the further development of the free democratic basic order in Germany through their previous activities" ". It should not be confused with the Kai-Uwe von Hassel Prize of the same name from the Kai-Uwe von Hassel Foundation.
