Combat area describes the interior of a military vehicle in which the weapons are operated.

In a self- propelled howitzer , the gunners and the gunner are in the combat area, which is defined by the hull and the turret. This is where all the technology is located (hydraulics, lock, bullet magazine, propellant charge container, BV, etc.). In the case of a main battle tank , these are the loader , the gunner and the commander .

A combat area is also sometimes referred to as a combat area; Example: Southeastern Europe combat area (World War II).
