The canton Meung-sur-Loire is a French canton in the Arrondissement Orléans , in the Loiret and the region Center-Val de Loire . Its main town is Meung-sur-Loire . Eric Doligé ( UMP ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 1985 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton of Meung-sur-Loire consisted of the ten communes of Baccon , Le Bardon , Chaingy , Charsonville , Coulmiers , Épieds-en-Beauce , Huisseau-sur-Mauves , Meung-sur-Loire , Rozières- en-Beauce and Saint-Ay . Its layout corresponded to an area of 222.74 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4518.
