Kaoru Wada
Kaoru Wada ( Japanese 和田 薫 , Wada Kaoru ; born May 5, 1962 in Shimonoseki ) is a Japanese music composer , conductor and pianist . He studied at the Tokyo Music Academy . He is known for the anime soundtracks he composed . In the west he became known for his work on 3x3 Augen and Battle Angel Alita , later even more for Samurai 7 and Inu Yasha . He also arranged orchestral and piano pieces for the soundtracks of the two parts of Kingdom Hearts .
Wada is a student of Akira Ifukube , the composer of Godzilla . Wada is married to the Seiyū Akiko Nakagawa , who lent the voice in the series Inu Yasha Sōta Higurashi .
