Karl-Heinz "Kalli" Kamp (born September 26, 1946 in Bingen am Rhein ) is a former soccer player and coach.

Kamp was considered the "eternal Werder coach" at Werder Bremen ; He has been with the club since July 1, 1970 and has been an assistant coach since 1985 under Otto Rehhagel , Dixie Dörner , Felix Magath , Wolfgang Sidka and Thomas Schaaf .

Before that, he was a player at Werder from 1970 to 1984. At the beginning of his time in Bremen, his gross earnings were 1,800 DM.

From 1980 to 1995 he was the coach of the Werder Bremen amateurs , and from 1985 he was also the assistant coach of the professional team. From 1995 he only worked in this position.

The complicated hip operation performed in the second half of 2005, in which an artificial hip was inserted, certainly made a decisive contribution to the end of his career as a coach. During his rehabilitation he was represented by Matthias Hönerbach , who then succeeded him in January 2006.

Karl-Heinz Kamp, who is also known by his nicknames “Kalli” and “Schampus” at Werder, has been working as a player observer (scout) for the club since February 2006 and is still a regular guest in the players' dressing room.

“Kalli” Kamp is married, has a son and describes his hobby as “soccer”.
